Daniel Maier-Reimers Kunst sind Reisen. Die meisten Reisen sind jeweils in einem einzigen Foto zusammengefasst, manche in einer kleinen Bildgruppe. Von einigen Reisen existiert kein Bild. Seit 2013 überlässt es Daniel Maier-Reimer Anderen, zu bestimmen, wie seine Reisen in Ausstellungen und Publikationen in Erscheinung treten.
